These qualities are still the main values of the studio today, continuing to create new projects. Juris Podnieks died in 1992.

Today, JPS continues to produce documentaries on modern and historical topics, revealing events that have changed people's lives during the changes in Latvia's political and economic system. "JPS" continues to work outside Latvia, in cooperation with "Channel 4" ( England), "TVE" ( England), "NHK" ( Japan), "ARTE", For Russian televisions, etc. "JPS" produces several documentaries a year.
